We all know the story of Batman, and of his greatness. We all acknowledge Robin’s talent and determination. We admire the cunning of Catwoman. We recognize the Joker as a truly formidable villain. But so very few in Gotham understand the role of Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne’s trusted butler and confidant.
